The Northleach

It might be one of the smaller Cotswold Towns but NORTHLEACH has a proud heritage, rich with evocations of a fascinating past.  Centred around the 15th century Market Place, the little alleys that lead off it are full of architectural treasures, with half timbered Tudor houses and rows of late medieval cottages.  Rumour has it that a maze of passages run beneath the town. Most noted for the 15th century Church for St Peter and St Paul, one of England’s most magnificent wool churches. Visit the Mechanical Music Museum and discover the world famous collection of musical boxes and clocks.  This small Cotswold town is  four miles from the Inn along the A429 (Fosse Way).
